Special Reports: Early in the tenure of the first Legislative Assembly, the Hon. Robert Stanbury, Nunavut’s first Integrity Commissioner (then called Conflict of Interest Commissioner) was requested to provide recommendations for new legislation for Nunavut. His resulting report, entitled For A Culture of Integrity was tabled in the Legislative Assembly in May 2001, and constituted the basis for Nunavut’s first Integrity Act enacted in 2001.
